  • Appropriate Artwork: All pixel art shared in the Artist Corner or Tutorials must be suitable for all ages (G/PG equivalent). Avoid extreme gore or disturbing imagery.
  • Watch Your Language: Profanity, vulgarity, and crude language are prohibited.

2. No Junk, Spam, or Bad Actors
  • Zero Tolerance for Spam: Unsolicited advertising, affiliate links, cryptocurrency schemes, and random promotions will result in an immediate permanent ban.
  • Relevant Self-Promotion: Sharing links to pixel art portfolios or relevant open-source tools is allowed only if it directly relates to the discussion and is safe for work.

3. Post in the Right Section
Keep our forum organized by using the dedicated categories:
  • Development Notes & Bug Reports: Use these sections to report software crashes or discuss code updates.
  • Artist Corner & Tutorials: Use these to share your PyDPainter creations and teach others.
  • Retro Computer Talk & Water Cooler: Save your general chat, Amiga/Atari nostalgia, and life updates for these specific off-topic areas.

4. Respect and Inclusivity
  • Zero Tolerance for Hate: Harassment, bullying, and discrimination are strictly forbidden.
  • Constructive Feedback: When critiquing artwork or reviewing code, be helpful and kind.
